  • John M. Pierce, a trial lawyer and founder of John Pierce Law, has been recognized as a leading jury trial lawyer by Benchmark Plaintiff Litigation and The Legal 500. A Harvard Law School graduate and former editor of the Harvard Law Review, Pierce also served as an M1A1 Abrams tank platoon leader in the U.S. Army’s 1st Cavalry Division.   • Andrew Green graduated from University of Miami School of Law. Throughout law school, Andrew served on the executive board of the University of Miami Race & Social Justice Law Review. During his last year at law school, Andrew received clearance from the Florida Supreme Court to speak on the record in as a Certified Legal Intern at the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office. Andrew has been a part of misdemeanor trials and spent several months in the jails division where he had 32 clients that were, at the time, in custody. Andrew also has experience in securities litigation and insurance defense work, as he was a Summer Associate at Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. in Miami, Florida. Andrew has clerked for John Pierce Law for 9 months, prior to becoming an associate attorney. 

    Before law school, Andrew got his bachelor’s degree from Western New England University. Andrew received the Honor Graduate in Law and Society. This award is given to the graduating senior, selected by related faculty, who has exemplified excellence and a commitment in the study of Law and Society. During his studies as an undergraduate, Andrew served as the Captain for the School’s NCAA Men’s Ice Hockey Team. Prior to going to law school, Andrew played a year of professional ice hockey in Valenciennes, France and played several games in the Southern Professional Ice Hockey League. Andrew is proficient in French.

  • Hassan Ahmed is an attorney admitted in the State of New York. He joined the team back in October of 2023 and has been a great asset. Hassan received his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 2021. Before his role at John Pierce Law, while at law school, Hassan was a judicial intern for two judges before graduating.

  • As a second-year student at University of Miami School of Law, Angel Richardson is dedicated to advancing justice and equity through legal advocacy. She serves as a junior editor for the Race and Social Justice Law Review and is a proud member of the Innocence Clinic, where she works to exonerate wrongfully incarcerated individuals. Angel is also an active member of the Entertainment and Sports Law Society. Her passion lies in addressing critical social issues, supporting underrepresented communities, and exploring the intersections of law, sports and entertainment.

    Before attending law school, Angel gained valuable experience in marketing and social media, where she worked on representing clients and securing brand deals on their behalf. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Miami, where she was consistently recognized for her academic excellence.

  • Emilia Waddington-González is a second-year law student at the University of Miami School of Law. She currently serves as the Federal Bar Association Vice President and as a 2L Student Bar Association Senator. Emilia is also a Junior Staff Editor for the University of Miami Business Law Review, is a member of the Innocence Clinic, and an active member of the Yvette Ostolaza Mock Trial Team. 

    Before law school Emilia graduated Summa Cum Laude from Florida State University, receiving her undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in General Business. During her undergraduate career Emilia served as a legal intern for various criminal attorneys assisting in trial preparation, legal research and writing, and client intake procedures.

  • Brooke Dugarte is a current University of Miami undergraduate student. While being a pre-law student, Brooke is a Public Health major and is pursuing a minor in Political Science. Brooke recently completed a summer internship at the Third District Court of Appeals where she gained experience in appellate proceedings and worked along side members in the Clerk’s Office. Brooke has collegiate Mock Trial experience and is currently studying for her LSAT. Brooke previously played NCAA Division 1 tennis at the University of Miami, following her many years of junior competitive tennis experience where she earned many national titles. Currently, Brooke is actively involved in her on-campus sports like Club Tennis and Club Pickleball, where she has led both teams to reach the national semifinals.
